This month, we wish Wendi and Brenda a very happy birthday! Did you know that these twin sisters took turns playing baby Grace Ingalls on the “Little House on the Prairie” TV show? They spent four seasons on the set of MGM Studios working with Michael Landon, Karen Grassle, Melissa Gilbert, and the rest of the cast. “The set was our Wonderland. We spent our toddling days wearing bonnets, taking naps in our dressing room, and thinking we were movie stars,” said Wendi. Learn more about her time on the show in her new book, A Prairie Devotional, and enter to win your own copy through our Giveaway.

This month we celebrate Laura and Almanzo's 134th wedding anniversary. Read about how their friendship quickly turned into love and marriage in the Little House book, These Happy Golden Years. For their wedding, Laura wore a black cashmere dress and Ma made a big white cake. You can celebrate their union with this beautiful cake recipe inspired by the descriptions in the book. How memorable it would be to bake a cake for someone special in your life!
